Chimney Field House is a family home located about 6 miles north west of Perth near the village of Methven. The new house was constructed in 2020/1 and is built on the site of a former saw mill. The mill was founded around the mid 1800s and was originally driven by a water wheel, the tail race for which is still visible. Around the turn of the 20th century the water wheel was replaced by a steam engine and a 13M tall red brick chimney was built, which is all that is left today of the mill buildings. The ruins of the mill it's self were demolished in 2018 as it was unsafe, but stone from the former mill buildings has been used to clad the lower parts of the new house.

The chimney has been a local land mark and now been full restored and incorporated within the new house structure.
