This quirky, stylish, comfortable little pump house was a fantastic place for an overnight stay. So clean yet I didn’t feel uncomfortable about using things Lovely outside area to sit and watch the birds. All you need amenities wise, complimentary treats, quality bedding and towels. Great communication and super easy check in. Great directions. I would highly recommend.

A very beautiful and relaxing place for a break from the city. The old pump house was absolutely gorgeous on the inside and made us feel right at home. Lots of clear instructions for how to use the fire, heating etc. The host made an effort to come and greet us when they saw we arrived. Would 100% recommend and will definitely be back. Can’t fault it at all.

We had a lovely stay at the pump house which was well equipped and immaculately clean. We really enjoyed the wood burning stove and the local village of Methven. It was lovely to be welcomed with some wine and snacks and this was a nice touch. Our only suggestion is to bring slippers as the ladder to the bedroom was hard on the feet and steeper than we had expected from the photos. Would definitely recommend.

My sister and I had a lovely time at Annette and Martin's place for one night. The Pump House was beautifully presented with everything we needed for our stay. The QR codes on the appliances were a great touch and helped us to make good use of the amenities. The surrounding area is beautiful, unfortunately the day we arrived it was raining but we managed to have a walk around before we left the next day when the sun came out. Very peaceful. We met Martin just before we were leaving, such a warm and friendly host. Would recommend this as a quiet and scenic place to stay. Also, we had no issues finding it, Annette sent us directions and my sat nav took me straight there.

Had such a lovely stay at The Pumphouse. The property was so easy to find with the directions Annette provided. The property is well laid out inside and has everything you could possibly need for your stay. The surroundings are so beautiful and very peaceful. We had such a nice time just relaxing, reading and listening to the nature all around. We were lucky to see lots of wildlife around the surrounding wood. Slept so well both nights. The bed was comfortable and loved how quirky it was going up a ladder every night to bed. We didn't want our stay to end and can't wait to come back. Thanks so much Annette and Martin. See you soon!

We loved our stay in the old pump house. It was immaculately clean with everything you would need for your stay. The added bonus was fresh milk a bottle of wine and snacks awaiting us on arrival, a great touch. We visited the near by village of Methven to collect our take away Indian curry which was absolutely amazing and we also took in near by scone palace, so it’s a great location to see things. We will definitely be back

Spent one night only at this tastefully renovated pump house building. The location is perfect for relaxing in comfort in the beautiful Perthshire countryside and is a short drive to the city centre (20min). Cozy even in sub zero temperatures and plenty logs to keep the fire going. Enjoyed having our feet warmed by the underfloor heating while cooking in the well equipped kitchen. Immaculately clean and very well organised. Excellent communication and arrival flexibility from Annette. Plenty parking space. Highly recommend.

We had a very relaxing stay at the Pumphouse, the surroundings were beautiful and private. The woodburner was wonderful and cosy with plenty logs to burn. The Pumphouse was as described and had lots of amenities and plenty plates, cutlery, glasses etc. The bathroom was nice with a double shower. The bed was comfortable and we slept well, it was fun climbing up and down the ladder to the bedroom! We would love to stay again in the summer hopefully

This was our favorite place to stay during our trip to Scotland. The location was remote but convenient to the town of Perth! I loved my run in the morning up the road and said hello to the friendly sheep. The bed was super comfortable. We highly recommend these accommodations (if you are able to climb a steel loft ladder of course).

This is a beautiful little place to relax. A rural location that felt miles away, but in fact was just 10mins drive from large amenities, that Martin and Annette have lovingly restored with a beautiful woodland setting and running stream. The attention to detail was amazing, instructions for all the amenities were easily accessible through scan bar code’s.

Annette and her husband were a genuine pleasure to speak with. Check-in is so stress free as they live close and so they simply leave the door open with the key inside. My wife and I stayed only one night as a stop off on our way up north but we are so glad we did. It was incredibly peaceful, we had a great bbq on the gas grill provided and the location is idyllic. HIGHLY recommended to anyone looking for a peaceful, quiet stay in a bueatiful part of the world.

Beautiful little find, loved the quirky set up using pipework keeping in with the properties previous use. The ladder was a little steeper than we had expected and tested my fear of heights but definitely worth the effort to climb as the bed was very comfy! Stunning surroundings very quiet and rural feeling yet not a far drive from any amenities you may require. We are happy we chose to spend out 17th wedding anniversary there. 😊

We had a lovely and peaceful stay in the Pump House, and we are glad we picked it for our last night before heading back to the US. It is in a beautiful location and an easy 45 min drive to Edinburg airport and close to the Cairngorms. We had a relaxing night playing cards and eating dinner while enjoying the wood burner. The surroundings are very peaceful and quiet. The loft bedroom may not be suitable for everyone, but we found it accessible for someone in their early 50's and the bed was very comfortable. The host was very responsive and helpful although we never met. The place was spotless and we loved the extra special touches and treats. We can highly recommend this place for a comfortable and relaxing stay.

Beautiful, cosy little snug tucked among the trees. Was very easy to locate from the directions given. Unfortunately a stereotypical Scottish summers evening stopped us from enjoying the decking area but could still really appreciate the views from the large patio doors. Surprisingly spacious inside compared to the relatively small exterior, a very well thought out layout means you have everything you need without feeling cramped. Lots of little details that show Annette really cares about guests from the helpful QR codes with info about various parts of the accommodation to the little tubs of amenities in the bathroom and even a wee carton of milk for a cuppa when we arrived. We will have no problem recommending this to others and are already discussing another booking in the future :)

We stayed for two nights at the Pump house and thoroughly enjoyed it. The house itself is so well done, it has everything you need and is really nice. The bed was very comfy and the underfloor heating and log burner kept the place nice and warm. The kitchen is well equipped and everything in the house has instructions provided which was so helpful. The location is lovely with a nice view and lots of wildlife around. There is also a shop and takeaways in the local village which isn’t too far away. The perfect place for a little getaway! Would highly recommend.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Exactly as described and shown on site, even more spectacular in person. Was lovely and warm on arrival. Very kind and thoughtful welcome basket with some tasty goodies. Excellent communication and instructions, privacy given with help easily available if required. Would recommend to others and will most likely be back again ourselves!

A lovely little place to stay with a cracking log burner and plentiful supply of logs for those long winter evenings. The bed is very comfortable and has good quality bedding.
Only 5 minutes drive to the local shop and plenty of walking routes around the local area.

A cosy little hideaway in a beautiful corner of Perthshire. We were only there for one night but spent the whole time next to the well stocked log burner! More time would’ve allowed us to go on beautiful walks and explore the area some more but still had a lovely time!

Thoughtfully designed and very well equipped, we had everything we needed for our one-night guy stay. The little house is very comfortable and welcoming especially with the log burner on an October night. It felt very cosy and the underfloor heating was lovely to come down to in the morning. We loved the QR codes dotted about the house which have instructions on how to use things like the coffee machine etc, that was a great touch.

We had a lovely, cosy stay at Annette’s little home. It is decorated beautifully inside with everything you need, and is in a quiet, countryside location (but easy to find). We loved the log burner and it kept us so warm on a very rainy night. It’s just a shame the weather was SO wet when we stayed and didn’t get a chance to explore the outdoors as much as we’d have liked, but at least we have an excuse to come back!

Myself and my girlfriend came to stay here for our 1 year together as we were attending the enchanted forest 1 year on after our first date here. The location of the old pump house was perfect for this. It was very peaceful right by a little river, the place was so clean and fresh, shops and restaurants near by. Plenty of wood and things to get the log burner going. Martin came to introduce as soon as we arrived. Will definitely hope to be back again.

My daughter and I spent few days in the 'old pump house' and we were very charmed by this lovely little house. They renovated the house with modern touches. Everywhere, they installed Q-codes, helping you with questions you might have had. Even Alexa (the box) was there :) They used the space very well to make everything as spacious as possible. The only advantage for elderly people could be the bedroom, being on +1 level but only accessible via a steep ladder. But, I'm 56 and i loved this cosy bedroom upstairs :) I would definitely go back ...

Just back from a night away at the Pump House. It was absolutely wonderful. Such an amazing use of the space and everything was set up perfectly for a relaxing break. The bed was incredibly comfortable and Annette was close by if we needed anything but everything was provided for our stay. We can’t wait to come back for a longer stay!

Our hopes for a place to rest our heads and clean up after a day full of hiking and driving were exceeded by this warm, inviting, and comfortable gem.
